Poets Katherine West and Hilary DePolo will read from Ms. West’s collection Scimitar Dreams. Musicians Jeff Finer and Mark Friedman will accompany the poems on slide guitar and harmonica. Artist Tom Katsimpalis will give a short talk on the process of making art from dreams and poems. His artwork, created specifically for Scimitar Dreams, will be on display during the reading. Copies of Scimitar Dreams, broadsides of both poetry and art, and complimentary CDs will be available after the reading.
